Beany Not Beanhead

Bernice Lorraine Sherwin Hendricks (a.k.a. Beany to everyone except her older brother, who insists on calling her Beanhead) is a worry wart. When this preoccupation meets up with her colorful imagination, it's anybody's guess as to the outcome. From standing up for an ant in trouble, to finding her way out of the overbearing control of her friend Carol Ann and being her own person, you will root wholeheartedly for this scrappy youngster.
