A $1.5 Million Capital Campaign

New Facade and Black Box Theatre

Dear Friends:

It has been our distinct pleasure to serve as Co-Chairs for this Dreams at Work Campaign. Over the years, we have watched DreamWrights grow from a young organization with no permanent home to a mature and vital part of the York community. Now that these renovations are completed, with a fresh exterior and a Black Box Theatre inside, its home at 100 Carlisle Avenue shines-a testament to the hard work volunteers have put forth since DreamWrights began in 1997.

Since that time, we have watched young people taking on active roles in all areas. Their participation has allowed them to become comfortable working with diverse groups of people, accepting responsibility, and allowing their imaginations to flourish. They have grown to be resourceful, confident and disciplined. Their continued value to our community will become even more evident as they grow to share their enthusiasm and ideas as business or political leaders, parents or teachers, employees or entrepreneurs.

We believe that DreamWrights will continue to serve York County at the highest level of performance, providing quality programs for our young people who will one day become leaders of our community.

Thank you for joining us in making this campaign a tremendous success.

With appreciation,

Louis Appell, Jr.

W. Dale Brougher

DreamWrights goal is to give our home the care it deserves. We believe our bright new exterior now properly reflects the activity, enthusiasm and energy which happen inside every day.

Facade Restorations

DreamWrights is dedicated to providing a broad theatre arts program for everyone in our community. With its unlimited possibilities, our new Black Box Theatre is increasing educational potential as it enhances the breadth of the audience experience.
