Dr. Seuss?! William Shakespeare?! In my bedroom?! Such is the cry of teenaged Jessie. Jessie juggles the distractions enthusiastically provided by a pair of younger twin siblings while trying to write a school composition comparing two writers. When Dr. Seuss and William Shakespeare appear to discuss their works, Jessie and the twins find themselves caught up in a number of word twists such as a Dr. Seuss version of Romeo and Juliet and a Shakespeare version of Green Eggs and Ham. The characters and audiences alike are swirled into the joy of playing with words. |
